CHICAGO, July 22, 2003 The Council
of Residential Specialists (CRS) annual educational conference,
Sell-a-bration® 2004, promises to be a high-energy event with
unparalleled education sessions, panel discussions, top keynote
speakers including Howard Brinton, and frequent social and networking
opportunities. The 16th annual Sell-a-bration® will be held
Jan. 15 17, 2004, at the Hilton Riverside Hotel in New Orleans.
Real estate powerhouse Howard Brinton, founder of
STAR POWER Systems and a nationally recognized speaker, author and
coach for top-producing real estate agents worldwide, developed
the 2004 program, including topics and speaker selections. He is
also the opening and closing speaker, and will moderate a technology
panel.
If you want high energy, motivation and up-to-date
information for your business, Sell-a-bration® is a fun and
dynamic way to kick off the year, said Gail Flagel, CRS, CRB,
2003 president-elect for the Council. With tools and topics
targeted to meet the needs of our Designees, general members and
students, Sell-a-bration® is not your average business conference.
And with Howard Brinton on board, it will only enhance an already
much-loved event.
At the opening session on January 15, Brinton will
share tips on how REALTORS® can maximize their time over the
next two-and-a-half days. Other keynote speakers include tax expert
Chris Bird, who will educate attendees on the new rules of tax and
finance, and renowned real estate trainer, David Knox, who will
discuss prospecting for sale by owner home sellers and
expired listings.
In addition to general sessions, Sell-a-bration®
attendees can choose from 10 breakout sessions covering topics such
as time management, handling client objections, Web sites as profit
centers, and the office of the future. Session moderators, who teach
all over the country, will bring their collective knowledge in one
location. Five of the 10 breakout sessions will be moderated by
CRS Senior Instructors: Rolf Anderson, CRS; Del Bain, CRS; Chuck
Bode, CRS; Mike Brodie, CRS, CRB; and LeRoy Houser, CRS, CRB. Trainers
from Howard Brinton STAR POWER Conferences and Universities will
lead the other half: Brett Ellis, CRS; Gayle Henderson, CRS; Craig
Lerch Jr., CRS; Char MacCallum, CRS; and Buddy West, CRS. Each session
also features a panel of three practicing real estate agents, who
are all CRS Designees.
Sell-a-bration® is an event for REALTORS®
to gain practical knowledge to enhance their professional lives,
as well as to meet new colleagues and take advantage of the referral-building
opportunities an event of this caliber can bring. A welcome reception,
Mardi Gras-themed evening of dinner, drinks and dancing, and intermittent
breaks to mingle are scheduled.
If you want to grow and learn, Sell-a-bration®
provides a fertile ground, Brinton said. Its like
going into a gold mine. There are so many nuggets of information.
The biggest challenge is finding time to implement them all.
Sell-a-bration® 2004 is open to all REALTORS®.
